Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. She choreographed an 11-year-old performance which earned her an German TV show appearance as an Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a playful Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation with The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul, Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to East Meadow, New York at the age of thirteen and a half years old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress most famous for her portrayal of the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. The actress is famous for her frequent appearances on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
